Traffic wardens in Amsterdam have been set production targets of ten parking fines and eight wheel clamps per day. The local traffic department, Stadstoezicht , which is supposed to be one of the few city departments to make money, has said that while traffic wardens will not be held personally accountable for reaching the daily targets, they will be asked for an explanation if they do not. Amsterdam has a tradition of being very strict about parking regulations.
