The Gate has removed its theatre seats for the show, which leads the audience from front of house to backstage, and encourages the wearing of 1920s attire.
Based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic 1925 novel depicting the excesses of the “Jazz Age”, the story follows the life and times of mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby and his neighbour Nick, who recounts his encounter with Gatsby.
