16 Feb-10 March. Described as a modern-day thriller, this new play by Margaret Perry explores the parallel stories of two Irish women, weaving past and present, fact and fiction.
The story is set against the harrowing real-life events that took place in Tipperary in 1895. When Bridget Cleary complained that she was ill, her husband believed she had been abducted by fairies and replaced with a changeling, leading to devastating consequences.
Bridget's tragic tale is offset by the story of Hat, a new mother living in modern-day London who, despite her seemingly great life, wants to disappear. Directed by Cathal Cleary.
