Jamie Lloyd directs this musical based on the best-selling 1987 novel by Irish writer Roddy Doyle who also wrote the stage adaptation for the West End production.
The story is set in 1980s working-class Dublin and follows a bunch of aspiring musicians whose soul band achieves huge success against all the odds.
The production includes renditions of classic soul numbers such as Mustang Sally, In the Midnight Hour, and Try a Little Tenderness, made famous to new audiences in 1991 by Alan Parker’s hit film version of the story.
