This massive East End comedy club includes a free curry with every ticket sold on Thursdays. Well-loved comedian Lee Hurst opened the club back in 1998 and comperes 3 nights a week. Every comic luminary has performed here and the place has a great atmosphere, much helped by ladlefuls of good food and booze. Unlike on TV, Lee Hurst has a license to rant about whatever he wants, and takes MCing to new levels of obscenity. All in all, the Backyard Comedy Club promises a rude and raucous night, followed by a disco until 1am.
