Summer concerts in Eisenstadt

The privately-owned Schloss park in Eisenstadt, just south of Vienna, is open for concerts and picnics during the summer.

For four weekends in July and August there will be themed events such as Viennese, Spanish and American music with picnic hampers on a similar theme available at the park. Visitors are not permitted to bring their own food.

The park and its castle belong to the Esterhazy family and was home to Joseph Hayden when he was the head of the Esterhazy court music. The first concert is on 7 July at 19.30.
