Run Dublin @ Night

The Samsung Run Dublin @ Night returns to the streets of Dublin for the second consecutive year, at 21.00 on Sunday 28 April. The annual 10-km run is organised by Dublin City Council and sponsored by major South Korean company Samsung Mobile.

Following last year's inaugural traffic-free night run, organisers of the 2013 event are expecting 10,000 runners to take part. The €33 entry fee includes a timing chip, race shirt, finisher's medal and goodie bag. There is a time limit of one hour and 20 minutes to cross the finishing line.

Participants have until 21 April to register online, while registration in person takes place in Trinity College Sports Centre from 26-28 April.

The route is scheduled to start at College Green, incorporating Dame Street and the Docklands area, and takes in both sides of the River Liffey.

Some of the more recognisable Dublin landmarks on the route include the General Post Office (GPO) and the Custom’s House, as well as the Samuel Beckett bridge and the recently-built Convention Centre in the Docklands.

Full details can be found on the event's website.
