The Ville de Paris is presenting a free concert on 30 Sept at the Charlty stadium in the 13e arrondissement to celebrate the beginning of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. Featuring international star Youssou N'dour from Senegal, singers Leslie and Assia as well as popular Moroccan newcomer Amine, the event has the mayor of Casablanca (Morocco) as the city council's guest of honour. The concert starts at 19.30 and closes with a firework display at midnight. Ramadan officially began on 23/24 September. For tickets to the concert: soiree.ramadan@paris.fr.
