A device that transmits an uncomfortable high frequency sound audible only to young people to deter them from congregating is to be installed for the first time in Oxford.

The trial of the Mosquito device, which can be remotely activated from a CCTV monitoring base in Wales, will take place in Blackbird Leys, says the Oxford Mail. It is thought that the device will help disperse groups of young people responsible for anti-social behaviour in the area.
