Free sports scheme rolled out for Oxford children
Oxford city council has made after-school sports activities available free to all children in the city aged eight to 18 years under its StreetSports programme.
StreetSports will now offer a range of indoor and outdoor sports during term time, including cricket, skate hockey, dodgeball and touch rugby, following the success of a similar scheme over the summer. Sessions run every afternoon at evening at sites across the city and no equipment is needed for children to take part.
