Brussels summer festival

Prime locations in central Brussels – Place Royale, Place des Palais, Parc de Bruxelles and Mont des Arts – become the venues for the city’s multi-cultural summer festival from 9-18 August.

To coincide with the live outdoor events there is also a classical music festival, Classissimo, which offers a concert every night at the Theatre Royal du Park.

First launched in 2002 the festival, which is now the city’s most important summer event, lasted only three days and focused on European music. Now it includes music of all styles from all continents, events at five of the city’s major museums in the Mont des Arts area, as well as street theatre.

A pass for the 10 days of the festival costs €40 and also covers admission to participating museums.
