14 Oct 2005 - 26 Oct 2005.

Austria's top international film festival: it could only be the Viennale. Cinemaphiles are spoilt for choice with 100 new feature films, documentaries and shorts. World premieres, special events and parties are all on the agenda, as are interviews, discussions and encounters between festival guests and visitors. This year, the event pays special tribute to actress and singer Jane Birkin, famous for her duet "Je time moi non plus" with ex-husband Serge Gainsbourg. Birkin also presents her celebrated program "Arabesque" on October 17 at Volkstheater (Neustiftgasse 1).
