22-25 June 2006. Fifteen of Dublins top restaurants are taking part in the Taste of Dublin Festival in the Coach House, Erin Room and gardens of Dublin Castle. Participating restaurants will present three of their signature dishes in sample-size portions while fine wines, beers and cocktails are available from bars and drink stands. Top chefs display their skills at the Chef Demonstration Theatre and the Waterford Crystal Wine and Spirit Academy offers a daily programme of wine tastings and tutorials giving advice on pairing wine with food. Bang Caf, Chapter One, Jaipur, King Sitric, La Stampa, Peploes, Rolys Bistro, Silk Road Caf, Unicorn and Yo Thai/Chai-Yo are among the restaurants taking part. Live musical entertainment is also on offer and over 40 food and drink exhibitors will be displaying their wares. Taste of Dublin runs four-hour lunch and dinnertime sessions every day except 22 June (dinner only). Admission Standard ticket 25, Premium 35, VIP 75. Sessions daily 12.00-16-00 and 17.30-21.30, Sun 11.00-15.00 and 16.30-20.30.
