2 June-16 Oct. The Louisiana dedicates its summer show to the late Copenhagen artist Poul Gernes (1925-1996) whose legacy lives on in his large public works around his native city.
Known for his experimental, colourful and sometimes provocative designs, Gernes is remembered as one of Denmark's most popular post-war artists.
This extensive exhibition contrasts his stern criticism of capitalism with the humour behind his work, as well as examining his views of the artist's role in society.
