10 June-30 July 2006. The 13th edition of the annual jazz festival in the Parc Floral de Paris presents a total of 32 concerts featuring international jazz and blues musicians every weekend over summer. Performers include Winston Marsalis protg Roy Hargrove (1 July), soulful rapsters from the United States, Soul Survivors (2 July), jazz legend Buddy Guy (9 July) and acclaimed trombonist Sarah Morrow (22 July). Only 1,500 seats are available, so it is advisable to arrive early. The festival website has all performance details. The Parc floral also hosts an exhibition in Pavillion 12 exploring the history of jazz. Admission to concerts free Park entrance fees 4, concessions 2. Concerts run from 15.30-18.00 Sat & Sun.
