20-24 June 2006. John Miltons epic 17th-century poem Paradise Lost is presented by the Oxford Stage Company in a new stage adaptation by Ben Power. Tracing the story of Satans expulsion from heaven and the banishing of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden, Paradise Lost offers a contemporary visual interpretation of the Fall of Man. Rupert Goold directs this critically acclaimed production, with original music by Adam Cork and video design by Lorna Heavey. The cast includes Jasper Britten in the role of Satan, Charles Aitken as the Son of God and Christian Bradley and Vinette Robinson as Adam and Eve. Note: Paradise Lost contains scenes of nudity and is not suitable for children under 13. Admission 22.50-9.50. Performances Tues-Thurs & Sat at 19.30, Fri at 20.00. Matinees Thurs & Sat at 14.30.
