Dublin Fringe Festival.

9-24 Sept 2006. Innovative theatre, dance, music, live and visual art are on offer in the 12th edition of the Dublin Fringe Festival, with performers and artists from all over Europe, South America, Africa, and Canada as well as acclaimed Irish companies including Barabbas, Fabulous Beast Dance Company, Rex Levitates, Performance Corporation and Landmark Productions. Festival highlights include a Fire Installation by the Compagnie Carabosse along the banks of the Liffey for the opening night ceremony (9 Sept), physical comedy from German company Familie Flz, Teatro Delusio (21-23 Sept), and the Vending Machine Project which sees 600 artworks from more than 60 local and international artists on sale from three vending machines around the city. The Festival Club at the Spiegeltent is open from 20.00 till late with live music and dancing, as well as gastronomic delights from the Diep Noodle Bar.
