19 Aug 2005. Backed by Sonic Youth, the Chemical Brothers play Marlay Park in Dublin as they tour in support of their new album, Push the Button. The Chemical Brothers, also known as Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands, released their debut album Exit Planet Dust way back in 1995, a tour de force that sold over a million copies worldwide and established the pair as kings of the 1990s dance-rock crossover phenomenon. The follow-up, Dig Your Own Hole, two years later, featured guest appearances from Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher and helped the pair win fame and fortune in the US. Their 2002 album Come With Us was less well acclaimed, but their latest offering has been hailed as a welcome return to form.
