World famous jewellers Tiffany and Co are to open a store in the Kohlmarkt, in the historical centre of Vienna. The elegant 19th century building which is to house the proposed two-level store is currently undergoing renovation and should be ready by autumn this year. The Vienna Tiffany & Co will occupy a prominent corner position in one of the citys prestige shopping districts. Apart from the jewellers collections of engagement diamonds, rare pearls, fashion jewelery and watches, the store will also offer designer pieces by Frank Gehry, Elsa Peretti and Paloma Picasso, as well as accessories, china and crystal gifts.
