Prince Philip moved to new hospital

Prince Philip in a new hospital, is it going downhill? What Buckingham palace has revealed.

Two weeks have passed since Prince Philip was admitted to King Edward VII's Hospital to treat an unspecified infection.  The hospitalization of Elizabeth II's husband is the longest in recent decades for the royal family and has not yet come to an end.

It seems, in fact, that the Duke of Edinburgh, 100 years old in June, will continue treatment at least until the end of the week.  From Buckingham Palace it was announced that Prince Philip has been transferred by ambulance to another hospital, Bartholomew's Hospital, which specializes in the treatment of heart problems and tumors.

Has the situation suddenly worsened? The Queen has continued her official engagements unabated even during her husband's hospitalization, hosting video meetings from Windsor Castle, according to press releases.  (Both Queen Elizabeth and Philip received their coronavirus vaccines in January).
