The number of foreign exchange students attending the Copenhagen Business School, the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University and Copenhagen University has doubled over the last three years. This year around 900 exchange students are enrolled at Copenhagen University alone. The Danish capitals new popularity among foreign students can be explained by the increased number of courses offered in English and the extensive marketing campaign carried out abroad. However, the marketing campaign is lacking a practical follow-through, with more staff needed to help get foreign students settled in Copenhagen.
