Copenhagen is the fourth most expensive European capital for real estate according to a report by the European Council of Real Estate Professionals (CEPI). The cost of a square metre in the Danish capital stands at Dkk31,100 the highest in Scandinavia - behind Paris, at the equivalent of Dkk 42,900 per square metre the most expensive in Europe, followed by Madrid and Dublin. Prices for domestic water and heating fuel in Copenhagen are also among the highest in Europe.
