Popular backpacker and independent hostels chain St Christophers Inn is to open a branch in Berlin in the recently renovated and extended Circus Hostel on Rosa Luxembourg Strasse in Berlin-Mitte. A new Belushis Bar will be opened in the hostels basement in 2007. The British company Interpub already operates 13 St Christophers hostels in London, the UK, Bruges and Amsterdam and is expanding further into the European market. St Christophers will take over the running of the Circus@Rosa-Luxembourg hostel as of 1 November 2006 with no staff or standard changes to the establishment currently on the site.
