20 Oct-2 Jan. The annual Turner Prize is awarded to an artist under 50, born, living or working in Britain, for an outstanding exhibition or public presentation of their work anywhere in the world in the previous year.
The four shortlisted artists for this year's Turner Prize all work within the fields of sculpture and installation.
They are Michael Dean from Newcastle upon Tyne; Anthea Hamilton from London; Helen Marten from Macclesfield; and Josephine Pryde from Northumberland.
