8 Mar-4 May 2008. Mumok organizes an exhibition twice a year in Out Site_1 in the courtyard of the MuseumsQuartier in order to bring the public closer to contemporary art. This exhibition shows the sculptures of the Viennese artist Thomas Stimm (b. 1948), whose works are based on forms found in nature. Within a context of urban architecture, characterized by the spaces at MuseumsQuartier, the artist set up an ensemble of enormous flowers and fruit. Nature is a recurrent theme in Stimm
