13-18 March 2006. Young people and adults from the Oxfordshire Scouting and Guiding movements perform comedy sketches, selections from musicals and pop songs in the Oxford Gang Shows annual extravaganza at the Oxford New Theatre. The show provides the 200-strong cast with the opportunity to tread the boards of one of the largest professional stages in the United Kingdom and gives audiences the chance to enjoy an evening of entertainment. The Oxford Gang Show has been running for over 50 years and is the fruit of six months of hard work put in voluntarily by a support team of over 100 people working in props, make-up, scenery, costumes, show content and front of house. Admission 6-5, under 16s 4-3.50.
