3 Nov 2005-22 Feb 2006.

What do Picasso, Warhol, Koons, and Leibovitz have in common? Together they give us insights into celebrity cult and logo mania, and "Superstars" tells it all. A relatively recent phenomenon, celebrity involves hyping individual lifestyles through the expanding universe of media. Inspired by stars of screen, music and fashion, the show features works by artists who create their own celebrity image in their work. Classic self-portraits rub shoulders with living sculptures in exploring the phenomenon of stardom, the rise of brand names and logos, and the principle of anti-star. The exhibition is co-staged by the BA-CA Kunstforum and the Kunsthalle Wien.

Admission: 8.70, reduced 6.50.

Daily 10.00-19.00, Fri 10.00-21.00.
