Solution or Utopia? Design for Refugees

20 May-3 Sept. The Stedelijk puts forward practical, common-sense proposals by designers to improve the temporary situations faced by refugees at reception and integration centres.

On display are around 50 designs ranging from clothing that doubles as tents, plastic flooring to link temporary shelters, and improved signage for refugee camps.

Several of the plans were designed by refugees as part of the Refugee Challenge organised by the annual What Design Can Do conference in Amsterdam.

Tues, Wed 11.00-17.00, Thurs 11.00-22.00, Fri-Sun 10.00-18.00
