6 Feb - 9 May 2010. The Royal Observatory treats visitors to an intimate look at sun with their current exhibition and planetarium show 'Solar Story'. The life cycle of Planet Earth's nearest star is examined, beginning with its origins and ending with its eventual demise. Through a mixture of talks and imagery from orbiting satellites, the power of the sun and its vital impact on surrounding planets, including our own, is documented with stunning visuals.
