16 Sept-8 Jan. Major exhibition dedicated to the founders of Pointillism, a painting technique in which small, distinct dots of colour are applied in patterns to form an image.
Developed by Georges Seurat and Paul Signac, the technique branched out from Impressionism and inspired later modernist masters.
The exhibition comprises 100 works, mainly by Seurat and Signac, alongside paintings by Van Gogh, Matisse, Picasso, Derain and Delaunay.
