19 May - 26 June 2009. Based in Vienna, Palais Project is a collaborative artistic and business venture between gallery owner Lucas Feichtner and journalist Christoph Bacher. The aim of the gallery is to promote contemporary Asian art to a western audience. Feichtner founded his first gallery in 1995 and is well established on the international art scene (he participates in numerous important art fairs as well as holding at least 8 exhibitions a year in his Vienna gallery) while Bacher and his Indonesian wife have developed a passionate interest in collecting modern artworks from Asia. The countries whose artists' work is showcased in Palais Project are Burma, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia and Japan.

Ryoji Suzuki is a Japanese artist who was born in 1973. His work reaches high prices at auction and is much sought after by collectors.
