23 Feb 2005-31 May 2006. Shakespeares timeless tale of ill-fated young love is now at hit musical. Since it premiered at the Palais de Congrs in Paris in 2001, Romeo and Juliet The Musical has been seen by over six million people all round the world. The German-language version is currently showing at the Raimund Theatre in Vienna. Directed and choreographed by French dance maestro Redha, the musical remains faithful to the original story, except for the addition of the playwright himself as one of the characters. Stunning set designs are by Duncan Hayler and Caspar Richten is Musical Director. Lukas Perman stars as Romeo with Marjan Shaki is his Juliet while Mercurio is played by Rasmus Borkowski.
