16 April - 12 June. Bringing to light that which is seldom seen in public, this unusual exhibition traces the evolution of underwear and celebrates its sartorial changes as a result of technology, society and taste.

From an interactive point of view, visitors can handle avant-garde clothing as well as typical fabric samples from Anglo-Saxon times, and can learn how the bicycle, tango dancing and wartime affected underwear design. The more adventurous visitors may even try on examples of underwear from different ages.

Set in the historic town of Woodstock, the Oxfordshire Museum brings history to life through a diverse range of exhibitions throughout the year in its 11 gallery spaces. Admission is free.

Tues-Sun 10.00-17.00. Sun 14.00-17.00
