Raoul Dufy

Retrospective highlighting the work of French Fauvist painter Raoul Dufy (1877-1953) who was also a draftsman, printmaker, illustrator and designer, known for his colourful, decorative style.

The Museo Thyssen focuses on both his hedonistic and introspective character traits, analysing how this informed his work as an artist.

Also on show for the first time are a series prints that Dufy created for Apollinaire’s Bestiary, as well as a number of related preparatory drawings.

Tues-Sun 10.00-19.00.
