8-9 Oct 2005. Now in its fourth year, the Festival de la Mascota is for anyone who has ever had a loving relationship with animals. Visitors will be treated to a programme of fun and educational activities competitions, games and exhibitions in which the animals are the real stars. Over 3,000 dog breeds take part in the International Dog Show, whilst the Expoterria, for reptiles and amphibians born into captivity, is a new event. How to care for pets is a key theme throughout the weekends varied schedule, with information provided by specialised professionals. The festival is open to any initiative for developing a pet-related activity whose content may be of interest to the general public.
