15 November - 17 June 2012. Aimed at children aged between four and ten, this exhibition tells fantastical tales of dragons and heroes.

The Children's Gallery of the Bode Museum hosts a cast of dragon-slayers, knights, famous saints such as Saint George but also lesser-known saints and mythical figures associated with both slaying and taming the magical creatures.

For thousands of years dragons have captured the imaginations of children and adults alike, featuring in countless legends, books and films.

Visitors to the museum will be amazed to find a dragon's skeleton which they will be encouraged to bring to life with hand-painted dragon scales.
