27 June - 30 August 2009. Each night before midnight the illuminated City Hall Park becomes the venue for Vienna's Music Film Festival. For almost 20 years, the combination of great musical scores and free film screenings running long into Viennese summer nights has been an attractive prospect. The 2009 cinematic line-up promises once again to entertain audiences with its range of opera, dance and jazz performances. Another tempting treat is the prospect of 20 of the city's top restaurateurs offering a 'culinary world tour' which begins in the morning, lasts all day, and includes the world's gastronomical highlights.
