Mas I Mas Live Festival.

23 Jul-5 Sept 2006. Live music, flamenco performances, DJ sessions and electronica are on offer in venues across Barcelona for the San Miguel Mas I Mas Festival, now in its 4th edition. Jamboree at 17 Plaza Relal hosts afro-Cuban sounds with the Ang Diaz Fusin Brasil band (3 & 4 Aug), the Steve de Swardt Blues Band (6, 13, 20 & 27 Aug), jazz from the Giullia Valle Group (15 Aug), tango from the Cristina Vilalonga Trio (16 Aug) and pop-jazz with Victor Boccanegra (22 & 23 Aug). Flamenco sessions are held at 20.30, 21.30 & 22.30 Mon-Sun at Tarantos in Plaza Relal, while the Moog discotheque has DJ stars and electro-fusion sounds every Weds from midnight at 3 Calle Arc del Teatro. This year for the first time Mas I Mas also hosts a theatre production : an adaptation of Federico Fellinis La Strada directed by Xicu Mas at the Teatro Romea (9-26 Aug).
