LEM 9th International Experimental Music Festival

From 7 Oct-9 Nov 2005. Born with the name of a writer, the 3 letters of LEM have changed meaning in each year of the festivals history. And like every year, the event showcases many artists for the first time in Catalonias capital city. Vocal and instrumental experiments, improvisation, electronica, audiovisuals you name it, LEM has it. The guest island of 2005 is Sardinia, while this year's animal is the turtle. Staged in over 15 venues within the Gracia district, some 150 musicians from 10 countries will showcase their latest sonic creations to the most open ears in Barcelona.
