23 Oct 2009 - 4 Jan 2010. John Cage (1912-1992) is credited with changing the course of modern music in the 20th century by shaping a new conceptual horizon for post-war art.

The Museo d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA) celebrates Cage's contribution to contemporary art by presenting the most extensive international exhibition devoted to the artist since his death.

The exhibition reveals the radical strategies employed by Cage to refine the score and extend it to other uses, forging a highly attractive path for the post-Pollock generation of artists.'
