2-6 Nov 2005. This years Berlin Jazz Festival points the spotlight south: first on the Italian jazz scene and then at the pulsating metropolis of Istanbul. Fans of the US jamband scene will also be invited on a musical journey by 2 Atlanta-based bands. Some of the main acts of this top European Jazz Festival include Joe Zawinul, Maria Schneider, Enrico Rava, Bill Frisell, Hermeto Pascoal and the Charlie Hadens Liberation Music Orchestra with Carla Bley.
