Hubert: Comic strip

12 Feb-17 April. The Belgian comic author Ben Gijesmans began working in the rooms of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium to gain inspiration for his new stories.

As time went by the museum itself began to feature more and more in his work. The end result is a comic book story centred around Hubert, whose character is set against the magnificent background of the museums.

This exhibition, which is organised in collaboration with publishing house Dargaud, displays the original illustrations.
