26 May-28 July 2008. The Bhss-Architekten is one the most successful architectural practices in east Germany, opened in 1993 by four architects from Leipzig. Their numerous projects include a school for blind children in Chemnitz (2007), an educational centre for the Ostdeutsche Sparkassenakademie (2001) and the Campus Center Breitenbrunn (2007). One of their current projects is Solar Valley Mitteldeutschland, one of Europe's largest centres of the solar industry. The architects understand the Glashaus as a "space between inside and outside, idea and realization, building material and art work". According to the philosophy of the architects, on show are not single projects, but a choice of constructions and contract competitions.
