Female Images: From Biedermeier to Early Modernism

7 July-18 Sept. The Leopold Museum presents an exhibition dedicated to "female images" including portraits of girls, women and mothers, from youth to old age, as well as female nudes and works created by women artists. 

The paintings and sculptures on display were created over the century between 1830 and 1930 and are part of the Leopold's permanent collection. 

 

The exhibition includes works by Tina Blau, Marie Egner, Olga Wisinger-Florian, Broncia Koller-Pinell, Käthe Kollwitz, Emma Bormann, Wally Wieselthier, Maria Likarz and Kitty Rix.

Wed-Mon 10.00-18.00. Thurs 10.00-21.00
