1 June - 10 February. This exhibition examines the different types of infections that have effected humans throughout the ages, as well as the medical breakthroughs in the battle against disease and infection, from the plague to malaria to AIDS.
The exhibition highlights the important role of hygiene, vaccinations and antibiotics in fighting off bacteria and viruses, and demonstrates how infection and contagion occurs.
References from art, literature, music and film are used to illustrate the history of society's response to disease.
