1 June-25 August. In one of the largest outdoor art exhibitions ever held in Denmark, throughout the summer Copenhagen's streets and parks are brought to life with colourful sculptures of baby elephants.

102 elephants have been decorated by professional and amateur Danish artists, including Denmark's Prince Henrik, as well as international stars of the art world. Made from fibreglass, the elephants can be found mainly in central Copenhagen and Frederiksberg.

After 25 August, the elephants go on display together in a two week exhibition at KPH Volume in Vesterbro. Those who get attached to a particular elephant over the summer will have the chance to purchase their favourite at an internet auction on 9 September, with the proceeds going towards the protection of Asian elephants in the wild.
