Egon Schiele

22 Feb-18 June. The Albertina marks the upcoming 100th anniversary of the death of Austrian painter Egon Schiele (1890-1918) with an exhibition of his work whose raw sexuality shocked early 20th-century Vienna.

The comprehensive exhibition includes 180 gouache paintings and drawings, examining the artist's intensely expressive imagery within the context of Viennese society at the close of the Imperial era.
