Donau Island Festival 2005.

24 June26 June 2005. Viennas beautiful Donau island hosts Europes biggest outdoor event a massive 6.5 km over three days in June. The festival agenda includes 1,500 artists and 600 hours of performances, spread across 19 single islands and 16 stages for free entrance. Rock, pop, classical music, cabaret, comedy, sporting events, a giant firework display (Sat 22.00), childrens program and fine local food are all on the menu. Major national and international stars are on the line-up including Jimmy Cliff, Hans Theessink and Georg Danzer. Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to attend from Vienna, throughout Austria and beyond for this, the 22nd Donauinselfest.
