19 July - 19 August 2010. An overnight success when it was first launched in 1949, Arthur Miller's classic play 'Death of a Salesman' soon became one of the greatest achievements of 20th century drama, winning the Pulitzer Prize.

The story centres around salesman Willy Loman, who, during the course of his career seemed to possess a golden touch. However, things suddenly start to go wrong for him; he begins to lose faith in the two most important things in his life: his family and his dreams.

Following last year's production of 'All My Sons', Canadian actor Len Cariou returns to the Gate. Directed by David Esbjornson, the cast includes Stephen Brennan, Peter Daly, Deirdre Donnelly and John Kavanagh.

Performances: 20.00 (Box Office: Mon-Fri: 10.00-19.00)
