19-21 May 2006. The Danish Beer Enthusiasts club (DBE) has been running an annual lfestivaler in May since 2001. Held in the Valby Hallen in Copenhagen, the event offers beer enthusiasts the chance to sample almost 800 different brews from around the world including ales from Australia, Belgium, Britain, Germany and Denmark. The festival also has a wide range of beer-related merchandise including t-shirts, caps, carrier bags, Swiss army knives and decorated beer mugs. The DBE was founded in Odense in 1998 with the aim of promoting traditional farmhouse beers. Admission Dkk75. Entrance includes tasting glass and two beer samples. Fri 16.00-23.00, Sat 12.00-23.00, Sun 12.00-18.00. The lfestivaler website is in Danish.
